Good morning sexy west coast!
such a normal day in Vancouver today it's sorta sucky.. rainy.. but in NYC they just got a massive snow storm! Speaking of the east coast everyone must, Must, MUST check out (212). A store in Gastown, owned by two super goregous boys ... one is originally from Vancouver and was a snow boarder, he decided to challenge his mind for something more and met up with a business partner and form (212). The store is a mix of west and east coast styles. The boys spend several weeks a year in New York and Toronto. They even have a shop in New York! The best part about (212)? Nothing is more than $350.00... ususally.. that's something we'd bare the ugly weather for!!

A beautiful Sunday afternoon, we couldn't help but put on some spring-y clothes and take a couple pics on our gorgeous porch, (which we yet to have photos on in the first place!)

arcitectural building of the moment. It is so pretty and elegant

and the Royal Opera House Ballet is the best in the world.

day off = holts spa day!

Obviously wearing mostly black to mourn McQueen.

Today I had the day off and to prepare for the Olympics I decided to get my hair cut, nails done and a massage at Holts spa, it was delicious!

RIP MCQUEEN.

What a sad, sad day in fashion, one of the greatest fashion designers (in our opinion) was found dead this morning. According to the press it seems Alexander McQueen was found dead and it looks like a suicide. Known for pushing the boundaries of fashion with the most amazing shoes on the run way to date McQueen was truly a legend. With celebrities like Rhianna and Sarah Jessica Parker frequently donned his garments Alexander McQueen will be remembered forever. 

RIP ALEXANDER MCQUEEN.

BONJOUR WORLD!

Wooo, Olympics!

Soon, like later this evening after school I will upload some stunning pictures of this sweet city! I often don't give Vancouver enough credit, always talking about moving east to Toronto or Montreal but at this moment, on a sunny, warm and snow free day in February I cannot help but express my joy. In fact today I slept in until 11am (i have been so busy with Olympic rehearsals) and woke up to a bright room. It immediately got me to throw on some shorts and head down to the gym.. after the gym i went to the Vancouver Public Library to get some work done on my project for a brand book on GUCCI. As I walked here I wore my Juicy sunglasses, I wore my shiny spandex leggings from American Apparel, my over the knee leather black boots by Steve Madden, my favourite Joie shirt, and my boyfriend blazer from Aritzia. I didn't even need a scarf! (well i actually felt i did need one, it would have completed the outfit but that's a different story!

Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hair.

...As I was doing research recently, I stumbled across many many many runway shows and designers that have their models sporting some lengthy braids and simply normal braids aswell. Personally I think they are lovely, if only my hair was down to my bum, I could join them.
